Biography
Nguyen’s research interests include designing, prototyping, and measuring efficient and sustainable computing systems. His research stretches across the areas of computer architecture, operating systems, data centers, and distributed systems. A current research theme is exploring the application of deep reinforcement learning to efficiently manage sustainable data centers and networks of data centers. Efficient and sustainable computing is in turn critically important to support the massive data storage and processing required for advancing and applying AI/DS.
