
Workshop: Enhancing PDB Deposition and Validation Practices
Join the RAD Collaboratory and the RCSB PDB at Rutgers for a hands-on workshop for depositors at all stages of PDB data submission on Thursday, May 8, 2025.
Attendees will become proficient in leveraging various OneDep features and tools, including ORCiD management, validating data, submitting batches of structures, and completing depositions with minimal manual input.

1:00pm: Preparing PDBx/mmCIF files; validating structures before deposition; and OneDep overview
2:00pm: Tutorial 1: Prepare, validate, and correct errors
3:00pm: Coffee Break
3:15pm: Tutorial 2: Making OneDep easy: ORCiD features, checking sequences and ligands, reviewing validation
4:30pm: Discussion: Share your stories (all participants); One-on-one help provided where possible.
5:30pm: Conclusion and Acknowledgements
