Coding in NVivo
Coding in NVivo allows participants to tag and organize data by theme so patterns can be identified across files. This session covers file classification and attributes as a way to organize files, autocoding as an entry point to qualitative coding, and manual coding. It assumes participants already know how to create a project and bring in files in NVivo.
- File classification & attributes
- Autocoding (by speakers & paragraph styles)
- Manual coding (inductive vs. deductive)
