The Rutgers Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (RAD) Collaboratory

Biography

Dr. Xiaomeng Jin is an Assistant Professor in Atmospheric Chemistry at the Department of Environmental Sciences at Rutgers University and leads the Rutgers Air Quality Lab. Her group’s research sits at the intersection of atmospheric science, remote sensing, and computational data science, aiming to understand the sources, chemical formation, and impacts of air pollution using satellite observations, large-scale environmental datasets, and chemical transport models. Dr. Jin is a recipient of NASA Early Career Investigator award. She obtained a PhD in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Columbia University in 2020, and worked as a NOAA Climate and Global Change Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley before she joined Rutgers University in 2023.
