“What are the Sustainability Impacts of Artificial Intelligence?  And what does this mean for AI governance for sustainability at Rutgers and Beyond?  –  An Expert Panel and Rutgers Community Discussion”

This is co-sponsored by Department of Human Ecology, Center for Sustainability Governance, Rutgers Office of Climate Action, and Students for Environmental Action.  We will be having experts from a wide range of fields answer the questions What does your research tell us about AI’s implications for sustainability?  And how do we govern AI sustainably?

There are three panelists who will each speak for 15 minutes answering these questions and then will turn to a discussion:

Ketan Joshi, a freelance writer and Senior Researcher at Australia Institute who recently published a report on greenwashing AI who will be joining via zoom.
