Alyson Brooks receives 2024-2025 Annual Year-end Presidential Award

Dr. Alyson Brooks, RAD Collaboratory Scholarly Community Affiliate and Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy in the School of Arts and Sciences, received the Rutgers University Presidential Outstanding Faculty Scholar Award. Dr. Brooks has established herself as an international leader in her field, publishing high-impact and significant scholarship, while compiling an outstanding record as a dedicated and innovative classroom teacher and as an effective mentor to PhD and undergraduate students.

The award honors tenured faculty members whose breadth of academic portfolios reflect outstanding research, scholarship, or creative work, as well as truly outstanding contributions to teaching along with extensive service to the Rutgers community and beyond. This award is part of the 2024-2025 Faculty Year-End Excellence Awards that is overseen by the Office of the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs.
