The Rutgers Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (RAD) Collaboratory

Biography

The overarching goals of the laboratory are to understand how molecular motions and biophysical properties modulate protein–protein interactions. A particular area of focus is on understanding healthy and pathological protein interactions in α-synuclein aggregation, which is implicated in Parkinson’s Disease. We use an integrative approach, combining solution NMR with artificial intelligence and computational approaches  in collaboration with Sagar Khare (Rutgers) to gain a molecular understanding of  aggregation processes and to develop inhibitors against these pathological events.
